As Deputy Director-General for First Nations Strategy and Partnerships, Phillip is responsible for improving education outcomes for Aboriginal students and Torres Strait Islander students. Partnering with Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islander people and communities, the division provides leadership, high-level advice and direction on effective and appropriate policies, services and programs for both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander specific and mainstream program areas.
